Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs Meets with the Governor of Herat

The Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, His Excellency Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, met with the Governor of Herat, Sheikh Noor Ahmad Islamjar, and discussed various administrative and public service-related matters.

At the outset of the meeting, the Governor of Herat provided information regarding the overall situation in the province, the efforts of the local administration to enhance public service delivery, address the concerns of the people, and manage administrative affairs. He stated that the officials of the Islamic Emirate in Herat are striving, within the available resources, to ensure the welfare of the people and respond to their needs.

The meeting also included discussions on the situation of returnees and the process of service provision to them. The Governor of Herat explained that the relevant departments, in cooperation with responsible institutions, have established the necessary conditions for the delivery of basic services and essential facilities to returnees, and that efforts are ongoing to further improve this process.

The Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs commended the activities and achievements of the local administration of Herat and described the role of the province’s officials in addressing public concerns and managing affairs as valuable and significant.

His Excellency Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi emphasized that serving the people and providing the necessary facilities for returnees constitute among the most important responsibilities of government institutions.

He also expressed appreciation for the cooperation of the people of Herat across various social sectors and underscored the importance of continuing joint efforts to provide services to the citizens.
