His Highness Amir al-Mu’minin, Sheikh al-Quran wal-Hadith, Mawlawi Hibatullah Akhundzada (may Allah protect him), held a meeting with the officials and members of the Ulema Councils of Parwan and Kapisa provinces, attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs along with several other respected scholars and officials.
The meeting commenced with the recitation of several blessed verses from the Holy Qur’an.
Thereafter, His Highness Amir al-Mu’minin delivered a detailed address in the light of the Holy Qur’an and Sunnah. He expressed appreciation for the activities of the Ulema Councils of Parwan and Kapisa provinces and stated that this is a valuable opportunity for scholars to make greater efforts in raising public awareness and strengthening religious understanding. He further emphasized that scholars are obliged to actively work toward resolving the Sharia-related issues of the people in their respective provinces.
His Highness urged the scholars to further strengthen unity and solidarity among themselves, noting that the unity of scholars contributes to the unity and cohesion of the entire Ummah. He also highlighted the importance of fiqh councils, calling for their establishment as platforms where truth is expressed, Islamic jurisprudential matters are thoroughly examined, and unity, love, and mutual understanding among scholars are strengthened.
His Highness stated that Allah Almighty has bestowed a great favor upon scholars by granting them the gift of religious knowledge, describing it as a noble responsibility. He further noted that scholars are the trustees of Allah on earth and the inheritors of the Prophets and Messengers (peace be upon them), entrusted with guiding people in religious affairs.
Throughout history, scholars have dedicated themselves to safeguarding Allah’s religion and Sharia through both intellectual effort and practical struggle. They have authored books, treatises, commentaries, and interpretations in the service of spreading religious knowledge. It is their duty to implement and clearly convey the Sharia of Allah, guide society in accordance with its principles, and also communicate the decrees and laws issued by the Islamic Emirate, explaining their wisdom, significance, and value.
His Highness further directed scholars to extend full cooperation to the General Directorate for the Preservation of Jihadi Values under the Ministry of Information and Culture in preserving the artifacts of the Mujahideen and sharing relevant information. He instructed that plaques be installed at the graves and shrines of martyrs to preserve their memory and history, and that books and treatises be compiled to document the Jihadi era and honor the sacrifices of the martyrs.
He also emphasized the importance of documenting the history and burial sites of martyrs so that future generations may understand the sacrifices of the Mujahideen, and called for highlighting the virtues of Jihad and the status of the sacrifices of martyrs, disabled persons, and orphans, so that their legacy is preserved and not forgotten.
At the conclusion of the meeting, all the scholars reaffirmed their allegiance to His Highness Amir al-Mu’minin, Sheikh al-Quran wal-Hadith, Mawlawi Hibatullah Akhundzada (may Allah protect him), and reiterated their commitment to remain steadfast supporters of his leadership and the Sharia-based system.
