Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs Meets with the Scholars and Elders of Badakhshan

The Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, His Excellency Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, met with the scholars and elders of Badakhshan.

In this meeting, which was held separately with the scholars and elders of Badakhshan, as well as with the elders and influential figures of the Pamir Kalan and Pamir Khurd districts, they provided the Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs with information regarding the social, economic, and security situation of Badakhshan Province.

They also commended the efforts of local officials in ensuring security and addressing public concerns. Additionally, they shared the public’s requests regarding the construction of roads, health clinics, madrasas, and schools in the mentioned districts, as well as the extension of power lines, and asked for attention to these issues.

His Excellency Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi expressed his satisfaction with the meeting and commended the efforts of the scholars and elders of Badakhshan, as well as the efforts of officials in resolving public issues, especially in the areas of public awareness and strengthening Sharia law-based governance.

The Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs emphasized the good conduct of local officials and their sincere performance of duties, stating that officials must further increase their efforts to identify public problems and improve social welfare.

His Excellency Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi further stated regarding their requests that the Islamic Emirate will address these matters and take necessary actions within its available resources.
