Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister’s Office Meets Officials of the Afghanistan Exchange Dealers and Money Services Union

Dr. Mullah Abdul Wasi, Chief of Staff of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, met this morning with the President, Deputy President, and a number of senior members of the leadership of the Afghanistan Exchange Dealers and Money Services Union.

During the meeting, which was held at the Arg Palace, Haji Bahram Khan Zadran, President of the Afghanistan Exchange Dealers and Money Services Union, expressed his satisfaction with the meeting and conveyed his appreciation, stating that, like other segments of the country, their requests and proposals have consistently been given careful consideration and that continuous efforts have been made to address them.

Referring to the role of the Sarai Shahzada exchange dealers in the field of money services, he highlighted the efforts of exchange dealers in preserving the value and stability of the Afghani, and also formally raised and submitted in writing a number of the union’s problems and requests.

While welcoming the participants, Dr. Mullah Abdul Wasi stated that the efforts of exchange dealers in safeguarding the value and stability of the Afghani are commendable. He added that Sarai Shahzada belongs to the entire nation, and that the establishment of order and the implementation of reforms there have a positive impact on the country’s economy; therefore, greater attention should be given to preserving its position and status.

He called on the officials and members of the Afghanistan Exchange Dealers and Money Services Union to resolve their internal issues through unity, mutual respect, and cooperation, noting that the greater the level of respect among them, the fewer problems and challenges would arise. He further assured them that their requests and proposals would be given due consideration.
