His Highness, The Amir ul Mu’minin (May Allah Almighty Protect Him), held a meeting with the Administrators of the jihadi Madrasas, teachers, officials responsible for the review of religious publications, and administrators of orphanages. The meeting was also attended by the Head of the Department for the Review of Religious Publications, the General Director of Jihadi Madrasas, and several other respected scholars.
His Highness, The Amir ul Mu’minin (May Allah Almighty Protect Him), provided necessary guidance and important advice to the participants of the meeting. He stated that Allah, Glorified and Exalted be He, has granted scholars a very high status among creation, has bestowed upon them honor and dignity, and has appointed them after the Prophets for the preservation of the religion.
In the past, whenever corruption emerged on earth after the passing of a Prophet, Allah Almighty would send another Prophet to eliminate that corruption so that it would be removed. Today, however, the scholars are the heirs of the Prophets (peace be upon them); they strive to remove corruption, work for the rectification of society, and implement the Sharia law. Through the pulpit, and through teaching, learning, preaching, and admonition, they educate the people and refine their minds.
His Highness also highlighted the importance and value of knowledge, stating that the reform of society is achieved through knowledge, and the establishment of Sharia law comes through the revival of religious sciences. If religious sciences are not revived, then the establishment of religion among the people will not occur. Therefore, great effort should be made in the education and training of students, and in shaping their creed, thinking, and intellectual development. Attention should be given to both their external and internal moral development, and they should be protected from idle and frivolous activities. A conducive environment for learning and constructive engagement should be provided, the habit of study should be instilled in them, and its importance should be clearly explained. Students should be properly taught religious knowledge, including Hadith, so that they are able to deliver clear and effective explanations wherever they go.
At the conclusion of his address, His Highness, The Amir ul Mu’minin (May Allah Almighty Protect Him), stated: “Do not become negligent; do not lose sight of your objective. Officials within institutions must also protect themselves from negligence, and efforts must be made to ensure that no negligence occurs in political, economic, or military fields. In all areas, remove negligence from yourselves. Allah Almighty has granted you a great opportunity for religious service in the present time. Reviving Sharia law in the current era requires patience and steadfastness. Become a means of guidance for the people, and ensure that this opportunity is utilized effectively. Cooperate with other institutions and maintain strong mutual trust. It is necessary that scholars properly fulfill their responsibilities.”
At the end, all the scholars once again renewed their pledge of allegiance to His Highness, The Amir ul Mu’minin (May Allah Almighty Protect Him), and pledged that they would exert full effort in the establishment and strengthening of the Sharia-based government.
The meeting concluded with a supplication for the Sharia law-based government and the people, recited by His Highness, The Amir ul Mu’minin (May Allah Almighty Protect Him).
