Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs Meets Scholars and Elders from Chah Ab District, Takhar Province

H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan for Administrative Affairs, met today with a number of scholars and elders from Chah Ab District of Takhar Province.

At the outset, the visiting scholars and elders briefed the meeting on the district’s security and social situation, noting that sustained efforts by the Mujahideen and officials of the Islamic Emirate have ensured security, enabling residents, particularly in Chah Ab District, to carry out their daily activities with confidence.

They also shared several concerns and proposals of the local population and called for special attention from the relevant authorities of the Islamic Emirate.

Welcoming the delegation, H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi emphasized that ensuring security and providing services to the people are among the core responsibilities of the Islamic Emirate, and that officials are making continuous efforts in this regard.

Referring to the issues raised, the Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs affirmed that the Islamic Emirate would review the requests and take appropriate measures accordingly.
