His Highness Amir al-Mu’minin, Sheikh al-Quran wal-Hadith, Mawlawi Hibatullah Akhundzada (may Allah protect him), chairs the Council of Ministers meeting of the Islamic Emirate in Kandahar

His Highness Amir al-Mu’minin, Sheikh al-Quran wal-Hadith, Mawlawi Hibatullah Akhundzada (may Allah protect him), chaired the meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, which was held in Kandahar Province. The meeting commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an.

Thereafter, His Highness Amir al-Mu’minin provided necessary guidance and advice to the ministers of the Islamic Emirate regarding the proper performance of their duties, the implementation of Sharia-based directives, justice with the people, resolving public issues, and serving with sincerity.

His Highness stated that the strengthening of the Islamic system is achieved through religious education. He urged officials to teach religion to the people, promote religious instruction, and remain steadfast in piety, emphasizing that they must not deviate from it. He further instructed that officials should serve with humility, provide religious awareness to the public, and protect them from immoral and incorrect ideas. He stressed the promotion of correct belief and creed, the practice of enjoining good and forbidding evil, and the careful study and full implementation of the decrees of the Islamic Emirate, while also explaining their importance to the public and ensuring their own full compliance.

He added that the responsibilities of officials are significant and require reliance upon the grace of Allah Almighty, and that in all matters, the religion of Allah and the sacred Sharia must remain the foremost priority.

His Highness further emphasized that, as members and pillars of the Islamic system, officials must educate those under their authority and the general public in Islamic knowledge and correct belief. He noted that weakness in actions stems from weakness in belief; therefore, Islamic knowledge must be spread across all regions of the country, revived, and strengthened, as it is through knowledge that the Islamic system is reinforced and stabilized.

He emphasized the importance of educating people about religion, Sharia, and the Islamic system, as well as maintaining self-accountability and supervising subordinates. He stressed that conduct must reflect Islamic teachings, as people are influenced by the behavior of officials. He noted that the Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) conveyed the message of Islam through his actions, and likewise, officials must demonstrate Islam through their conduct. He further stated that a truly successful person is one who brings success to others.

His Highness further stated that every era passes, and therefore it is essential to leave behind sound principles, systems, history, and good morals for future generations.

During the meeting, decisions were also made regarding the improvement of educational services in the country and the strengthening of economic and political sectors. The implementation of previous decisions of the Council was reviewed, and relevant officials presented updates on their execution.

Subsequently, discussions were held on various administrative, economic, and social matters, and the necessary decisions were adopted.

The meeting concluded with a supplication offered by His Highness Amir al-Mu’minin (may Allah protect him) for the well-being of the system and the people.
