Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs Travels to Balkh Province

The Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, His Excellency Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, traveled to Balkh Province at the head of a delegation.

His Excellency Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, accompanied by the Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, Mawlawi Ataullah Omari, the Head of the Council of Ulema, and local officials of Balkh Province, inaugurated the process of distributing assistance to returnees in Balkh Province during an official ceremony.

The assistance is being distributed through the High Commission for Returnees Affairs, in accordance with the directives of His Highness the Amir al-Mu’minin, Sheikh al-Qur’an and Hadith Mawlawi Hibatullah Akhundzada (may Allah Almighty protect him), with the objective of addressing the needs of eligible returnees.

His Excellency Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi called upon all compatriots to provide assistance and cooperation, within their capacity, to returnees and other eligible citizens during the winter season, in order to alleviate their hardships and difficulties to some extent.

It is worth mentioning that this assistance program has been planned for 2,200 eligible returnee families in each province, under which each returnee family will receive 250 kilograms of wheat and 5,000 Afghanis in cash assistance.
