Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs Meets with Scholars, Mujahideen, and Officials of Ghor Province

H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, met this morning with a number of scholars, mujahideen, and officials from Ghor province.

At the beginning of the meeting, the participants briefed the Deputy Prime Minister on governance and the performance of provincial departments, noting that officials and mujahideen are working to address public issues, improve services, and uphold peace and stability.

The participants also referred to several needs and challenges in the province and requested that the leadership of the Islamic Emirate give due attention to the demands and proposals of the people of Ghor.

In response, H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi said that addressing public concerns and fulfilling the people’s legitimate needs are among the key responsibilities of the Islamic Emirate. He added that the government will, within its available means, take the necessary steps to respond to the participants’ proposals and meet the needs of the people.
