The Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, His Excellency Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, met this afternoon with the Governor of Faryab, Mawlawi Mohammad Hanif Hamza.
At the outset of the meeting, the Governor of Faryab presented a report on the overall situation of the province, as well as on the activities and performance of local officials.
He added that security throughout the province is fully maintained and that local Mujahideen and officials are continuously striving to provide services and address the concerns of the people.
The Governor of Faryab also shared the demands and proposals of the people of the province regarding various issues, particularly the construction of water dams and other development projects.
The Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, His Excellency Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, commended the activities and performance of the local officials of Faryab Province and stated that maintaining security, ensuring social welfare, and resolving the problems of the people are among the responsibilities of the Islamic Emirate, and that local officials should make further efforts in this regard.
His Excellency Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi stated regarding the proposals presented that the Islamic Emirate will give them due consideration and undertake practical measures for their implementation.
