The Economic Commission of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Al-Haj Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, resolved to annul the existing contracts of Uranus Wedding Hall and its parking area, and to allocate the site for the establishment of a market for precious and semi-precious stones. It was further determined that, upon the expiration of the contracts for Khalij and Mumtaz Mahal Wedding Halls, measures shall be undertaken in accordance with Kabul Municipality’s regulations.
In addition, Nazif Market, the Alauddin Three-Way Fuel Tank (Fuel Pump Station), and Zahir Shahi Market have been offered for open bidding, with rent currently being collected from newly contracted tenants.
This decision has been endorsed by His Highness, the Amir al-Mu’minin Sheikh al-Hadith Haibatullah Akhundzadah, may Allah protect him.
