Alhaj Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund to the returnees: "Welcome home to your communities and fellow citizens

Today, in Spin Boldak district of Kandahar province, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan's Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Alhaj Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, welcomed the returnees. 

During welcoming the returnees, the Deputy Prime Minister of Economic Affairs proclaimed, "Today's meeting and your return is one of the happiest and proudest moments in life, filled with strong Afghan identity feeling." 

He again added, "You may have believed that under foreign rule, genuine happiness, lasting progress, sense of ownership, pride, and dignity will remain elusive to you."

 The real feelings of freedom, self-respect, pride, and satisfaction are rooted in one's own native country."

 Addressing the gathering, Alhaj Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund said: "We understand that your departure from your homes was sudden and involuntary. Your sources of livelihood were cut short, much of your property had to be abandoned behind, and your education had to be discontinued."

This has been a tough time, indeed, but on the behalf of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, I want to assure you that every effort will be taken to facilitate you to get over these problems. Your children will be educated and given religious teachings, your enterprises will be restored, and all help that is feasible will be given to you. 

The Islamic Emirate has already provided many services to our fellow Afghans in a short time and will continue to do so.

 The Deputy Prime Minister added, "You are the sons and daughters of this independent country. Whatever hardships you experience here, nobody will push you out again. In an independent Afghanistan, your honor will be preserved, and you will no longer endure the pain of humiliation."

 The time had to arrive when you would return home today is the day. Return to your people and your communities." 

Alhaj Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund stated, "The honor and dignity of this nation are directly linked to the solidarity and unity of its people. We will serve both our nation and our religion jointly. We will use our services as per Sharia law and try to save the children of our beloved country from foreign dependence, humiliation, and displacement."

 Finally, the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Alhaj Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, appealed to all foreign humanitarian agencies to cooperate with the returnees in conjunction with the Islamic Emirate.
