His Excellency Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, met with Mr. Abdul Rahman Fida, Consul General of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in UAE.
At the outset of the meeting, Mr. Abdul Rahman Fida presented a comprehensive report to the Deputy Prime Minister regarding the activities, operations, and programs of the Consulate, as well as the status of Afghans residing in Dubai.
He affirmed that the Afghan Consulate in Dubai is making every effort to address the challenges faced by Afghans living there and, under the guidance of the leadership of the Islamic Emirate, is diligently working to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries across various sectors.
The Deputy Prime Minister welcomed the Consul General and observed that the United Arab Emirates and Afghanistan, as two Muslim and friendly nations, share numerous commonalities. He emphasized that officials of both countries can capitalize on these shared interests to further develop and expand cooperation in economic, political, and cultural domains.
The Deputy Prime Minister reaffirmed the Islamic Emirate’s commitment to supporting Afghans residing in the United Arab Emirates and stated that the Consulate in Dubai should exert every possible effort to resolve the issues confronting Afghans living in the country.
