Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate Addresses Gathering at Kabul University

H.E. Al-Hajj Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, participated in and delivered a speech at a Ministry of Higher Education gathering at Kabul University, aimed at strengthening the academic system.

The gathering brought together academic leaders, professors, and scholars from across Afghanistan. In his remarks, the Prime Minister underscored the importance of enhancing educational quality, improving teaching standards, implementing reforms, and promoting the growth of higher education.

He expressed appreciation to the professors and scholars, calling their role a sacred duty, and encouraged them to advance reforms in the academic system. He emphasized that educating and guiding the youth is a lasting charity and one of the highest responsibilities.

Subsequently, the Minister of Higher Education, Sheikh-ul-Hadith Mawlawi Nida Mohammad Nadim, welcomed the Prime Minister and participants, noting that the guidance and encouragement of the Prime Minister and other leaders of the Islamic Emirate serve as a source of renewed motivation for improved service.

Similarly, Mufti Abdul Rauf Farahi, Head of the Academic Curriculum Department, and Sheikh Mawlawi Abdul Qudus Abu al-Mubarak, Deputy Head of Zabul’s Scholars’ Council, highlighted the importance of integrating religious values with modern academic developments. Following the gathering, the Prime Minister toured several departments of Kabul University.
