His Excellency Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, participated and delivered an address today at the Conference in Support of the Private Sector, jointly convened by the Kabul Provincial Administration and the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment.
The Deputy Prime Minister expressed his satisfaction with the organization of the conference, affirming that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan spares no effort in promoting and supporting the private sector. He further remarked that the government expects traders and investors to fully utilize existing capacities for national economic development and the creation of employment opportunities.
His Excellency Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi stated that since the establishment of the Islamic Emirate, comprehensive security has been ensured, allowing all citizens—particularly traders and investors—to pursue their daily activities without hindrance. He underscored that this constitutes a significant blessing for the Afghan people.
In reference to the implementation of both small- and large-scale development projects, the eradication of administrative corruption, and the suppression of the cultivation, trafficking, trade, and use of narcotics, the Deputy Prime Minister highlighted ongoing efforts to digitize the national administrative system to minimize inefficiencies.
His Excellency added that the Islamic Emirate has introduced a range of measures to facilitate trade, investment, and private sector growth, and is actively working to further enhance these provisions for the benefit of traders and investors.
The Deputy Prime Minister explained that land within industrial parks has been allocated to entrepreneurs who have relocated their factories and enterprises to Afghanistan and are creating employment opportunities for Afghan citizens. Additional forms of support have also been made available to them.
In conclusion, His Excellency Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi stated that, alongside the relevant institutions of the Islamic Emirate, the cooperation of the general public and financially capable individuals is essential in assisting returning Afghans. He expressed optimism that the return of migrants to the homeland will become a valuable opportunity for national development.
