His Excellency Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, held a meeting yesterday afternoon with His Excellency Mawlavi Zarif Muzaffar, Governor of Sar-e-Pul Province.
At the outset of the meeting, Governor Mawlavi Zarif Muzaffar provided a briefing to the Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs concerning the social and security conditions in Sar-e-Pul Province, as well as matters pertaining to local governance.
The Governor affirmed that the Mujahideen and the officials of the Islamic Emirate within the province remain fully committed to serving the populace, maintaining public security, and promoting general welfare.
He further conveyed the demands of the citizens in relation to development initiatives, healthcare services, and employment opportunities. Additionally, he underscored the challenges associated with the return of individuals from neighboring countries and appealed for increased attention to these concerns.
In response, His Excellency Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi reiterated the Islamic Emirate’s commitment to safeguarding public security, addressing citizens’ needs, and resolving the difficulties confronting individuals forcibly deported from neighboring states. He emphasized that the responsible authorities would persist in their efforts to discharge these responsibilities.
