Deputy Prime Minister Meets Officials from the Union of Health Sciences Institutes

H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, met today with a number of officials from the Union of Health Sciences Institutes.

During the meeting, officials from the Union of Health Sciences Institutes highlighted their key role in training healthcare professionals alongside universities and emphasized their commitment to delivering high-quality education.

The Union officials raised specific concerns regarding the institutes and called for attention and support from the Islamic Emirate authorities.

In response, H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi appreciated the Union's efforts, noting their significant role in strengthening the healthcare system. He underscored the country’s urgent need for qualified health professionals and stressed that both public and private institutions must work together to develop and supply this essential workforce.

Regarding their requests, H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi assured that the Islamic Emirate, within its means, remains committed to serving the people and will take appropriate measures to address the concerns raised.
