Chief of Staff Holds Talks with Shia Scholars and Community Leaders

Dr. Mullah Abdul Wasi, Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister’s Office of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, met today with several representatives of Shia scholars and influential figures at the Prime Minister’s Office.

The meeting opened with remarks from Sayed Sufi Gardizi, Sayed Hassan Sharifi Balkhabi, and Mohammad Ishaq Safdari, who commended the positive relations and cooperation between the Islamic Emirate and the public.

They expressed that the Shia community wholeheartedly supports the Islamic system, fosters strong relations with it, and lives peacefully with mutual respect and cooperation under its guidance.

Representatives of Shia scholars and community leaders from different provinces submitted written proposals and concerns regarding water access, housing shortages in Herat, Kabul, and other areas due to returning refugees, mosque reconstruction, and enhancing ties between the Islamic Emirate and the public.

In response, Dr. Mullah Abdul Wasi welcomed the delegation, affirming that the Prime Minister’s Office is the shared home of all Afghans and that the Islamic Emirate’s leadership is committed to addressing all concerns and proposals.

He acknowledged the significant contributions of Shia scholars and community leaders in enhancing government-public relations, offered clear directions on each proposal, and promised to relay them to the relevant agencies for necessary action.
