Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs Meets with the Consul General of Afghanistan in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

His Excellency Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, held a meeting with Mawlavi Imran Afghan, Consul General of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in the city of Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

During the meeting, Mawlavi Imran Afghan presented an overview of the activities, performance, and programs of the Consulate, in addition to providing an assessment of the situation of Afghan citizens residing in Saudi Arabia. He affirmed that the Consulate of Afghanistan in Jeddah is exerting all possible efforts to address the needs and affairs of Afghans living in the Kingdom.

The Consul General in Jeddah further stated that, following the directives of the leadership of the Islamic Emirate, Consulate officials are committed to strengthening and expanding bilateral relations between the two countries across various sectors.

In response, His Excellency Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi commended the activities and performance of the officials of the Islamic Emirate’s Consulate in Jeddah. He underscored that Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia, as two Muslim and fraternal nations, are bound by profound religious, historical, and cultural ties.

The Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs stressed that the officials of the Consulate in Jeddah should further intensify their efforts to advance economic, political, and cultural relations between the two countries, as well as to enhance the delivery of services to Afghan citizens residing in the Kingdom.
