H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, yesterday evening visited Kabul to observe the process of Afghan returnees from Iran and their transfer to the relevant areas.
During his visit, the Deputy Prime Minister carefully reviewed the repatriation procedures and the relocation of returnees to their designated provinces and communities. He urged the responsible officials to promptly address the needs of the returnees.
The Deputy Prime Minister expressed his gratitude for the efforts of the teams assigned to provide essential services to the returnees, including healthcare, food, and water. He assured them that the Islamic Emirate is fully committed to doing everything possible to improve living conditions for the returnees within the country.
The Deputy Prime Minister also listened to the requests and concerns of the returning citizens and instructed the relevant officials to respond to the basic needs of the returnees.
