H.E. Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, received the designated committee's report today regarding the assessment of extraction operations in the Qashqari oil block.
This committee was appointed under the guidance of H.E. Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, by H.E. Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs. The committee’s mandate was to assess the shortcomings and issues of the contracting company regarding the implementation of the Qashqari oil block agreement.
The committee submitted its findings on the deficiencies of the contracting company and the issues currently affecting the project area. The Deputy Prime Minister directed that the report be submitted to the Prime Minister’s Office for further review and decision.
